E8AOS Device Flashing Guide (English)

Follow the steps below carefully to safely and correctly flash the firmware on your device.

📦 Preparation: Download and Organize Files

  1. Download Required Files
    Please download the following three files in advance and verify they are not corrupted:
  2. Create a Working Folder
    Create a dedicated folder on your PC’s D:\ drive:
    D:\E8AOS
    Extract all three downloaded ZIP files and place their contents into this folder.

🔧 Step 1: Install Device Drivers

⚠️ Run as Administrator to ensure proper driver installation.

  1. Navigate to the driver folder:
    D:\E8AOS\Driver_R4.21.3201\DriversForWin10
  2. Right-click DPInst64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Wait until installation completes (the window will close automatically or display a success message).
  4. A system restart is not required unless prompted by Windows.

💾 Step 2: Configure the Flashing Tool

  1. Open the flashing tool directory:
    D:\E8AOS\UpgradeDownload_R27.23.4203-no_backup\Bin
  2. Right-click UpgradeDownload.exe and choose "Run as administrator" to launch it.
  3. In the tool interface, click FileLoad Package.
  4. Select the .pac firmware file at:
    D:\E8AOS\7123_ums9230_6h10_Natv_k515__w30_full_MZ_E8A_20250713\7123_ums9230_6h10_Natv_k515__w30_full_MZ_E8A_20250713.pac
  5. Verify that the firmware information appears correctly in the tool after loading.

🔄 Step 3: Enter Flash Mode and Start Writing

✅ Use a high-quality or original USB Type-C cable to ensure a stable connection.

  1. Pre-connection Setup:
    • Ensure the tablet is completely powered off.
    • Prepare your USB Type-C data cable.
  2. Force Entry into Flash Mode:
    • Press and hold the Volume Down (–) button on the tablet.
    • Connect one end of the USB cable to your Windows PC, and the other end to the tablet’s Type-C port.
    • Continue holding the Volume Down button until the flashing tool detects the device.
  3. Begin Flashing:
    • Once a progress bar appears in the tool, the device has been recognized—you may now release the button.
    • Do not disconnect the cable or put the PC to sleep until the process completes.
    • Upon success, you’ll see a message like "Upgrade success" or a green checkmark.

✅ Completion: Reboot the Device

  1. Close the flashing tool.
  2. Disconnect the USB cable.
  3. The tablet should boot up automatically. The first boot may take longer than usual—please be patient.
  4. If the device enters the Android initial setup wizard, the flash was successful.
❗ Important Notes & Recommendations
  • Back up important data: Flashing will erase all user data. Back up beforehand.
  • Battery level: Ensure the tablet has at least 50% battery before starting.
  • Disable antivirus software: Security programs may block driver or tool execution.
  • OS compatibility: Windows 10 or Windows 11 is recommended.
  • If the device isn’t detected, retry the steps and try a different cable or USB port.
